Laser skin resurfacing, also referred to as a laser peel, is used to reduce visible signs of aging in the face such as wrinkles, scars, and discoloration caused by sun damage. Laser skin resurfacing removes the outer layer of the skin (the epidermis) and heats up the dermis to stimulate growth of collagen fibers, resulting in tighter, firmer skin.

Procedure is considered to be cosmetic, so it is not covered by insurance.
This procedure fully ablates the outermost layer of the skin, producing dramatic results. It is a surgery and therefore performed under anesthesia. Non-surgical skin rejuvenation is also offered.
